The kitchen at Strand is built up with focus on clean, natural and seasonal ingredients. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we get top quality seasonal produce. Where possible we use organic and locally sourced ingredients.

Our Head Chef, Emil Thorsvik, works together with Tom Victor Gausdal to create our weekly tasting menu; Chef Menu which can be served as a 6, 5 or 3 courses, as well as our summer menu.


Lunches at Strand can be enjoyed daily, Monday to Saturday 11-17:00. Our Chef menu is served from 17:00. On Sundays we offer our lunch menu  during the whole day, and a 3 course daily menu served from 13:00.

Our restaurant manager has composed a wine list consisting of some of the world´s best producers specializing in Organic and Biodynamic wine production. What is important for us is that the wines are of top quality, representative of their terroir and made by people who care about the environment. Wine for us is made of 100% grapes.
